From its plants in Asia, Wilmar manufactures various carbon chain mixes and pure types of these fractionated methyl esters. Methyl esters are good solvents for inks and polymers and are being widely used as a ‘green’ solvent since they contain low VOC and are readily biodegradable. They are often used to replace non-environmentally friendly solvents.
