From its plants in Asia, Wilmar manufactures distilled fatty acids derived from both palm oil and palm kernel oil. In the same product range of distilled fatty acids, it manufactures Wilfarin DC0818H (DHCFA), Wilfarin DC1218 (TCFA) and Wilfarin DC1218H (DTHCFA). Whether these fatty acids are non-hydrogenated, hardened or topped creates functionality of stability, colour, viscosity and drying capabilities. They have varied functions including as a coating, surface treatment/protection of raw materials, water repellent and emulsifier.
