From its plants in Asia, Wilmar manufactures oleic acid which is a slightly yellowish liquid from palm oil. Oleic acid is used in mould release agents, anti-foam agents and some mining flotation chemicals. In pharmaceuticals it can be used as an excipient and as an emulsifying or solubilising agent in aerosol products.
