Cleansols are 95% grades of ethanol that have been blended with other solvents such as Isopropanol. Cleansols are made from hydrous ethanol and used in applications where some water is acceptable, including sterilisation, preservation and cleaning.
The most common CleansolTM product is Cleansol IP5 - 95% hydrous ethanol / 5% Isopropanol.
