This special methylated spirit is made from our industrial grade ethanol to which denaturants (chemicals) are added to render the ethanol non-potable. In the case of IMS, the denaturants are Methyl Iso Butyl Ketone (MIBK) and Denatonium Benzoate (Bitrex).
Special methylated spirits are used in all applications and are not intended for human consumption.
