This special methylated spirit is made from our neutral cane (NC) grade ethanol to which a denaturant (chemical) is added to render the ethanol non-potable. A variety of denaturants are available for blending with ethanol, the most suitable denaturant would depend on your intended purpose. Please contact us for specialist advice on the correct form of special methylated spirits for your application.
Wilmar BioEthanol perfumery grade ethanol is manufactured at a nominal strength of 96%. 95PG is specifically designed to meet applications where the base odour of the ethanol is critical to the final product. It has characteristic low odour properties and minimal impurities.
To purchase ethanol grades an Australian Tax Office (ATO) permit may be required in some circumstances. Please contact us or the ATO to understand your obligations.
