Flexol blend range
Business Details
Flexols are anhydrous grades of ethanol that have been blended with solvents such as ethyl acetate, nPropyl acetate and nPropanol.
The primary uses of flexols are in flexographic printing applications. The varying blends will determine drying time for the ink systems in use in the printing process.
Wilmar's FlexolTM products are manufactured to high standards. A large range of blends has been developed over time in conjunction with a number of ink suppliers, and new blends can be customised to suit specific customer requirements.
The most common Flexol blends are:
- Flexol E1 - 99% ethanol / 1% ethyl acetate
- Flexol P20 - 80% ethanol / 20% propanol
- Flexol PAP 15/15 - 70% ethanol / 15% propanol / 15% propyl acetate
