Business Manager Starting with Wilmar in 2011, George was initially employed as a Sales Agronomist, working with Plane Creek and Mackay growers. George holds a Masters of Agribusiness, specialising in sugarcane and related value chain projects. He became the Business Manager for AgServices in 2015. He supports the AgServices team and the service providers who deliver our liquid fertiliser and stockfeed products. George has previously worked in irrigation sales, Quality Assurance training and fertiliser extension services.
Stockfeed Customer Relationship Manager Tony has worked in the Queensland stockfeed and liquid supplement industry since the 1970s and has extensive knowledge of the Australian livestock industry and the important role that supplements play in animal health. Tony is the key contact for our reseller network and offers technical support and training. Although he is based at the Sarina Distillery, Tony spends most of his time on the road visiting product resellers. He holds a Diploma of Applied Science Animal Production (Ruminate) and a Diploma of Rural Business (International Marketing).
Agribusiness Agronomist Brazilian-born Glauco joined the AgServices team in April 2021 following a 14-year stint in New Zealand, where he was national sales manager for a biological liquid fertiliser company. Glauco holds a degree in international business and logistics and has spent the last several years honing a specialty in agriculture, soil biology and animal health. He’s passionate about working with farmers to maximise the effects of biological fertilisers to achieve healthier soil, crops and profit.
Agribusiness Agronomist Gabriel is no stranger to the sugar industry, having spent the early years of his career working for Brazilian sugar company Raizen as an agricultural engineer, and operational and process manager. Originally from Sao Paulo, Gabriel earnt his degree as an Agronomist Engineer while working for his university’s agriculture department. Gabriel joined Wilmar in April 2021, relocating to our Sarina Distillery offices from the Gold Coast, where he spent the last two years studying leadership and management.
