We've adjusted our crop estimates for all four milling regions.

The Herbert crop has been revised upwards while our other milling regions have seen a slight reduction in crop size.

The total estimated crop is now 15 million tonnes – slightly below the original forecast of 15.07 million tonnes.

Together our eight mills have processed close to 80 per cent of the total crop.

HERBERT
• The new crop estimate is 4.24 million tonnes – up 80,000 tonnes.
• We've now processed 75 per cent of the total crop.
• Based on current crop estimates, budgeted factory throughputs and no wet weather disruptions, we expect to finish the season in late November.

BURDEKIN
• The new crop estimate is 7.98 million tonnes – down 60,000 tonnes.
• We've now processed 80 per cent of the total crop.
• Based on current crop estimates, budgeted factory throughputs and no wet weather disruptions, we expect to finish the Burdekin season in late November.


PROSERPINE
• The new crop estimate is 1.56 million tonnes – down 60,000 tonnes.
• We've now processed 82 per cent of the total crop.
• Based on current crop estimates, budgeted factory throughputs and no wet weather disruptions, we expect to see the last cane tipped in the second week of November.


PLANE CREEK
• The new crop estimate is 1.22 million tonnes – down 30,000 tonnes.
• We've now processed more than 80 per cent of the total crop.
• Based on current crop estimates, budgeted factory throughputs and no wet weather disruptions, we expect to see the last cane tipped in the third week of November.
